As part of our ongoing efforts to improve the reliability and performance of our web infrastructure, we undertook a major migration to a new hosting provider during the winter break between the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 academic years.
In the latter part of the 2023/2024 academic year, we began experiencing significant degradation in service availability, resulting in frequent outages that impacted our ability to deliver online classes and student services. Despite our best efforts to mitigate these issues, the problems persisted, and by February 2025, we made the decision to seek a new hosting provider and initiate the migration process.
As of May 24th, 2025, we are pleased to report that the migration has been successfully completed, with approximately 96% of all systems restored and upgraded. Our team is currently working on refining the underlying code for certain sections of our web infrastructure, including the student dashboard, to ensure a more streamlined and optimized user experience, particularly for those with limited internet connectivity in the Caribbean region.
We appreciate the understanding and patience of our community during this transition period. While we continue to fine-tune our codebase and implement additional optimizations, our website is now fully operational. We have scheduled more extensive optimization efforts for the upcoming summer break.
