Description

This course, part 1 of a 2-course full immersion into Intermediate Web Development focuses primarily on the presentation aspect of web design by focusing primarily on CSS and introduces concepts such as animation, transitions, positioning, etc.

After a quick review of the basic HTML tags, you'll get further immersed in pushing HTML to its full standards-compliant, semantic potential, including accessible links, HTML5 forms, and embedded content.

You'll also learn various odds-and-sods building on the basics of CSS, including grouping and nesting, background images, and page layout.

At the end of this course, you will have designed and published your first website to the web, accessible via a url from a domain name that you will be guided on how to purchase and retain ownership of this domain name.
